150W Women History Projects 2020 & 2021

Emeriti/ae together with undergraduate students have played a crucial role in researching and documenting women's contributions to many disciplines and departments. These projects -- part of the 150 Years of Women at UC Berkeley Initiative -- were offered through the URAP Program.

Women Student Leadership: Prytanean Women's Honors Society at UC Berkeley

150 Years of Women in the English Department

The English Department has been the home of many of the university’s most acclaimed women: in 1905, the first female faculty member (Lucy Sprague) was appointed in English, and in 2017, a member of the English Department faculty (Carol Christ) became the first female Chancellor.
