Academy Open House

After two years of virtual gatherings, we are excited to convene the Academy community for an in-person event. 

What: Academy Open House

When: 
 Wednesday, May 4, 2:30pm to 4pm 

Where:  The Faculty Club 

Enjoy meeting colleagues over light freshments. Academy Board members will be available to talk about current Academy activities and Fall panel discussions to support undergraduates. 

Three groups of emeriti/ae mentors and their undergraduate research apprentices will showcase their work through poster displays of their projects: 

  • John Swartzberg and Sam Davis, COVID-19 and Vaccine Hesitancy (interdisciplinary seminar) 
  • John Swartzberg and Herb Thier, Data Mining of Tang Center Student COVID-19 Data (URAP Project) 
  • Amy B. Joy and Ruth Tringham, Choosing a Major: How and Why do Students Select their College Majors (URAP Project)
