The Academy offers membership to all UC Berkeley Emeriti; in addition, any member of the Academy may choose to become a Professor of the Academy.
All Academy members are invited to participate in Academy hosted events and discussions. Professors of the Academy pursue, with other Emeriti, interdisciplinary collaboration under the aegis of the Academy. Recognized collaborations receive administrative and other support.
