I am Clinical Professor Emeritus, UC Berkeley School of Optometry Professor; I am also the Emeriti Academy Recipient, Inaugural BERKELEY Founders Award Member, and the UC Berkeley School of Optometry Hall of Fame Alumnus of the Year, UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Research interests:
My area of speciality has been clinical, legal, and ethical ussies in healthcare and vision care, corneal physiology and contact lenses. I am interested in ethics and healthcare policy. I served as the Vice Mayor, City of Pleasant Hill, and as the Founding President of the Berkeley Optometry Alumni Association.
