I joined the UCB Psychology Department in 1969 as an assistant professor with a specialty in industrial/organizational psychology. I retired on Dec. 31, 2010. During my time at UCB, I served as Chair of the Department, Director of the Institute of Industrial Relations, Vice-Chair of the Academic Senate, and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Faculty Welfare. I am now active in the UCB Emeriti Association.

Member of the Psychological Services Incorporated (PSI) Technical Advisory Board; Member of the American Medical Colleges Admissions Initiative Expert Panel; and Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certification Commission.
