Emeriti Academy Town Hall Meeting

Monday, November 15, 2pm to 3:30pm (via Zoom)

Register for the event by following this link.

Join interim Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Cathy Koshland and members of the Emeriti Academy for the Academy’s second Town Hall Meeting. Hear from current members about their Academy work. Find out about plans and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations on campus and in the community, as well as how you can join and participate in the Academy. Bring questions, comments and ideas, and connect with colleagues from across the university.

The Emeriti Academy launched in Fall 2020. It evolved from recognizing that many emeriti continue their academic pursuits after retirement. Since our launch, the Academy has attracted over 100 members from across the university. It facilitates and supports collaborations between faculty from different disciplines, identifies and conducts panel discussion on important topics, and provides opportunities to mentor students through partnerships with groups such as the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) and the Freshman & Sophomore Seminars Program.
