“You should go to professors’ office hours.” Students hear that advice a lot. But many students:

feel intimidated by the thought of visiting their professors in their offices;

are unclear about what office hours are for anyway;

feel like they don’t really know what to say once they get there;

have worked up the courage and then discovered that their professor’s office hours sign-up sheet is already full.
Each workshop will provide:
- Tips on how to best use office hours
- Tailored advice from faculty panelists in small break-out groups
- Option to sign up for individual 1:1 coaching after the event
In this low-stress, low-stakes setting, students can discuss their issues with professors who want to help them thrive at UC Berkeley.
